Grammar School Chic

Perhaps I’m alone in this sentiment, but I am a firm believer in the idea that chic 6 year olds have the absolute best fashion to steal inspiration from. I’d be crazy if I didn’t acknowledge that North West has a closet that is infinitely better than my own. So naturally, ever since the return of denim jumpers, I have been plotting my perfect look that is as easy as stealing candy from a baby (cue dad jokes). You may recognize this top from a suggested item to purchase at Banana Republic from my last post, and that is simply because I like taking wise advise. Basically I took my own advice and bought the top at the store the next day; just call me fashion Yoda.

I think feminine, statement details are the absolute greatest trend to ever hit the runways/streets, which makes wearing this top a no brainer. With Vogue declaring cleavage out not so long ago, the high neck was the perfect choice to pair with this denim jumper.  This look was great for Memorial Day, or any day really, and it translates really well to a classy, yet fun 4th of July look – just incase you wanted to plan ahead.

Here are the exact purchase links online for these items: Shirt (Banana Republic) // Jumper (TopShop & Nordstrom)

Head to my last post to see specific links to some great deals on vintage Chanel Flap Bags from Bag Borrow Or Steal. My sunglasses are from Free People, and while they don’t seem to have the specific color online they do have a very similar option available that comes in three colors. You can purchase them online here for only $25! Obviously I wore my favorite trainers, and while I’ve been desperately trying to find these rose gold accented Stan Smiths I have yet to catch a break for you guys.

Thankfully these Originals are beyond cute and on my wishlist right now:

This is one of those outfits that you can expect me to be wearing over and over again this summer; I don’t even care if I’ll be an “outfit repeater” (shoutout to Kate on Lizzy McGuire for your outfit shaming ways). Until next time, good luck trying to rival North West’s OOTDs.
