Summer makeup can feel absolutely impossible at times. You want to not only look natural but you want to feel natural too, and for a long list of reasons. The heat is unbearable and you feel like your makeup will literally melt off of your face when you step outdoors. While some days may call for a fresh face or just a little tinted moisturizer, that isn’t always the case and shouldn’t have to be! Maybe you want to get a little dolled up or your skin just hates you that day. Regardless of the reason, I’ve found this makeup combo to be the key to a natural yet flawless finish that lasts all day.
What I love about the bareMinerals foundation is that it’s buildable! The fact that it is buildable is what makes it such a great buy because you don’t have to worry about buying two foundations; having something separate for day and night. I also love that it doesn’t cause breakouts for me, which most foundations do. I’ve avoided wearing a full face makeup for years until I bought this product last summer… I’m not even kidding.
I usually swear by the bareMinerals translucent powder, but recently I’ve been trying out this Neutrogena powder after using a friend’s one night. Tbh I love it just as much! I would 10/10 recommend either product for ‘keeping your face on’ all day in this summer heat.
*All brushes used have synthetic fibers to ensure that no animals were harmed. MAC has some great synthetic sets that feel as fabulous as they look and work amazingly. *
