Most Instagram Worthy Nightlife in London

Another post, that is alarmingly late as it comes almost a year after I studied abroad, is my collection of the most Instagram worthy nightlife spots in London. Like any other dedicated millennial, I always google spots that are equally as photographable as they are fun when I am planning a vacation. No, I don’t plan my entire vacation around pictures, but I definitely think it’s nice to get some cool shots when you’re away. Sue me.

Maybe searching for instagram worthy locations is an embarrassing thing to admit that I do, but to be completely honest, I know so many other people who secretly do the same thing. I also have a feeling that others would appreciate the availability of this information even if they didn’t realize that they would appreciate it prior to reading this post. Of course, there is always the chance that you’re a person who could not care less and that’s cool too. The places I have chosen to list have a lot more to offer other than a square sized snapshot, so feel free to keep reading if that last person is you.

In my time of planning, I found myself really struggling to find collections or guides to Instagram worthy spots in London. I ended up having to go full on FBI-stalker mode and somewhat aggressively browse the internet and social media. I mean, I frankly did not have the time to just stumble upon cool spots every time I went out and about in London. Truthfully, who does? Planning is undoubtably crucial for vacations or trips.

So, here’s the first in a series of Instagram worthy spot posts. This list is featuring nightlife in London for those of age!

  1. Cirque Le Soir … Cirque is a circus-themed club that has crazy backdrops, themed nights, performances, a DJ, wild bathroom signs and even a ball-pit. It’s lots of fun whether you’re at a table or dancing with friends, and there are tons of spots inside to get a cool picture. If you’re used to college bars then this club will definitely be a change in scenery as it’s more avant-garde and less Jersey Shore. Check out their website with more information and photos here.
  2. Drama Park Lane … Drama is a club that definitely gets way too crowded, but if you get there early enough you can take advantage of some of their fun photo ops like the champagne bubble bath or the random bed in the corner. How edgy. Check out their website with more information and photos here.
  3. Toy Room London … Toy Room is yet another club, and one that I had severe FOMO of my friends for going to. While I was cuddled in bed, crying alongside cheesy Netflix movies, they were taking adorable pictures with teddy bears and dancing the night away. Check out their website with more information and photos here.
  4. Tonight Josephine … If house music and clubs aren’t your scene, but throwback songs and cocktail bars are, Tonight Josephine is definitely the place to be. It’s honestly worth it just for the cute drinks, neon signs and Paris Hilton mugshot on the bathroom stall. The best part is, the feminine ambiance keeps most straight men at bay, so you can enjoy a true girls night out without dodging 300 creepers. If you don’t come for photos, come for the chance to hear Toxic and avoid pickup lines from strangers. Check out their website with more information and photos here.
  5. Sketch …Whether you want a drink at the bar, a meal with friends or afternoon tea, Sketch is one of the coolest places to check out in London. While they are likely best known for their pink room, there are many different rooms inside that are equally as unique and beautiful. The onion rings are to-die-for, and the opportunity to try out each room makes this a place to go to again, and again, and again.
