I’m back again with another Instagram worthy guide to London, and this time I’m showing you guys where to get the cutest lattes around town. Out of all of my searches for things to do, this one was a probably the biggest struggle for me. Thankfully, it was a struggle that I felt determined to conquer. In 2018, or even 2017 when I was there, the normal leaf latte art just doesn’t always cut it. I mean it isn’t bad by any means but every once upon a dream some influencer in Europe happens to post a really chic latte and it leaves me envious. So, if you’re feeling like breaking away form your Keurig or your Starbucks run, and you are looking for something that will look cute in an Instagram picture at the same time, I have two aesthetically pleasing options for you!
- Farm Girl Cafe … This cafe, located in Notting Hill, has really yummy food and lots of different beverage options. It actually started to rain on me as I waited in line to get a table for some avocado toast and coffee, but I thought it was worth it. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and next-door boasts one of the cutest clothing stores to ever exist: Sister Jane. When I realized I was able to visit one of my favorite brands after sipping on a latte that looked like a French Bulldog, I knew that the stars had aligned for me that day. Also, according to their website they just opened a new restaurant in Chelsea and it looks equally as cute as their Notting Hill location.
- Peggy Porschen Cakes … If you are looking for a fairytale experience while eating some cake and drinking your latte, then you seriously should look no further than here. Sadly, none of their cupcakes or treats were vegan but they did have milk alternatives for their lattes! The inside and outside are an absolute dream, and you can request for the baristas to add fun latte art to your drink. The design is up to the discretion of the barista it seems, as I ended up with chevron much to my dismay. I know for a fact they have lots of other cute designs. If you despise chevron as much as I do, you might consider mentioning that to them in casual conversation before ordering. You know, just incase.
There are lots of other wonderful spots to get coffee while in London if you aren’t looking for a wild design. Enjoying a coffee with a friend at a hotel in Mayfair is always fun, and I absolutely recommend it. The coffee shop around the corner from your hotel or flat could also be really great. I know mine was! These spots may not be as Instagram worthy as Farm Girl Can or Peggy Porschen Cakes, but the experiences will likely be wonderful all-the-same. Come to think of it, I don’t think I had a bad cup of coffee while I was in London.
